CANIS RUFFUS | Reference Sheet Reveal — Description

Meet Canis Ruffus, my personal fursona and creative alter ego. A creature shaped by instinct, resilience, and untamed energy. His sharp silhouette, crimson fur, and predatory gaze are balanced by intricate markings that tell a story of individuality and transformation.
This reference sheet was designed not only to define his appearance, but to capture his personality—confident, fierce, expressive, and impossible to ignore. Every detail, from the facial structure to the paw anatomy and color palette, was carefully developed to create a character that feels alive and recognizable from every angle.
Creating professional reference sheets is one of the best ways to bring a character to life, giving artists and commissioners a clear visual guide while preserving the unique essence of the design.
✨ Character references, custom fursonas, redesigns, and full character sheets will be available for future commissions. Whether you're building your first OC or refining a beloved character, I'm excited to help turn your ideas into something memorable.
Thank you for following my artistic journey. More artwork, expressions, concepts, and commission information coming soon.
